Dr Chong is a Psychiatrist based in HSNZ since 2021. He graduated with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore India in 2011. He obtained a Masters of Psychiatry from UKM in 2020. He is a representative of the One-Stop Center for Addiction (OSCA), Terengganu. He has great interest in research and is currently the Head of Research and Development of Psychiatry and Mental Health in HSNZ. Dr Chong is actively involved in psychiatric related research and publication, securing grants over the years. His recent research was the Virtual Reality (VR) Technology for Treatment of Mental Health Problems during Covid-19 published in 2022. Dr Chong is also a talented writer and has produced two books titled ‘Embracing Your Childhood Self’ and ‘Atasi Insomnia’.
