Dr Rozanizam is a Psychiatrist, a lecturer and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Kuliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He completed his undergraduate degree in University of Adelaide in 2009 and pursued Master of Medicine (Psychiatry), USM in 2017. He is a public figure with active involvement in talks and community services as the speaker in various online forums, TV and radio programmes. Dr Rozanizam has been proactive and diligent with his efforts in the pursuit of public education on mental health especially on social media platforms. He has great contributions in scientific publications which were published regionally and internationally. Other than clinical work, Dr Rozanizam’s passion is in writing. Dr Rozanizam has written several books including ‘Solusi Stres: 101 Tip Praktikal Kendali Stres’ and ‘Psikologi Si Kecil: 50 Pesan Psikologi untuk Ibu Bapa’. Throughout his career, Dr Rozanizam has received multiple awards and honors including Winner of the Best Practice Award awarded by the Malaysian Psychiatric Association in 2018 and received the Silver Medal for the Poster Presentation during the International Muslim Mental Health Conference in 2018.
